Carbon Monoxide Alarms

Did you know that every year, two hundred people die and serveral thousands are treated in hospitals for carbon monoxide poisoning. Co is a odorless, tasteless and colorless poisonous gas that can be in your home. If you have any wood burning, gas burning or oil burning appliances in your home, YOU NEED TO HAVE A CO DETECTOR!

All homes should have at least one Co detector outside the master bedroom. It is recommended that you have one on every floor of your home, however, if you are only interested in getting one, make sure it is installed near your master bedroom. If Co leaks into the house in the middle of the night, you would be the one to hear the alarm.

If you currently have a carbon monoxide detector in your home, make sure that it is still good. There is an EXPIRATION date on Co detectors that is usually 3-5 years. Also, make sure that you change your batteries every year!

Humidifiers

Do you wake up in the middle of the night with a dry nose and itching skin? Do you get shocked when you go to give your kids a kiss good night? That is all caused by the lack of humidity in your home in those cold winter months. This can all be taken care of by adding a whole home humidifier onto your current central heating system.

What people are saying

  • The office staff was very courteous and helpful. Albert came to the house and was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. After all was said and done, we were able to get both a new furnace and new central air. The whole process was very easy, very smooth and very professional. We were able to schedule installation in just a few days. They were on time, took care not to walk on my carpet with dirty shoes and cleaned up nicely. They had to dig up a few plants to place the air conditioner and even filled in the hole with dirt. I was very impressed and am very happy with our new units. Everything is working great and we will be staying with Ryan for maintenance and any future needs. Great company, great people and very affordable. Thank you!! Check for the yard sign during fair week, it will be out as promised!!😊

  • Ryan Heating & Cooling gave us excellent customer service. This was our first experience with this company and their technician Kevin came to our home within one hour of calling for an appointment and was able to quickly diagnose the problem. He was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The staff at Ryan Heating & Cooling was also extremely friendly. Our home is new to us and it was a pleasant surprise when they informed us of the warranty from the previous owners! We will definitely call them to repair or replace our system in the future. We have been recommending them to all of our family and friends and we are happy to have such a great company close to our home to depend on! Thanks! Dave
