There are several differant ways that you can improve you indoor air to make your home more comfortable. Whether you have dry, itching skin in the winter or allergies in the summer, there are products that can help!
Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Did you know that every year, two hundred people die and serveral thousands are treated in hospitals for carbon monoxide poisoning. Co is a odorless, tasteless and colorless poisonous gas that can be in your home. If you have any wood burning, gas burning or oil burning appliances in your home, YOU NEED TO HAVE A CO DETECTOR!
All home should have at least one Co detector outside the master bedroom. It is recommended that you have one on every floor of your home, however, if you are only interested in getting one, make sure it is installed near your master bedroom. If Co leaks into the house in the middle of the night, you would be the one to hear the alarm.
If you currently have a carbon monoxide detector in your home, make sure that it is still good. There is an EXPERATION date on co detectors that is usaully 3-5 years. Also, make sure that you change your batteries every year!
Humidifiers
Do you wake up in the middle of the night with dry noses and itching skin? Do you get shocked when you go to give your kids a kiss good night? That can all be taken care of by adding a humidifier onto your current unit.
