Indoor Air Quality
There are several different ways that you can improve your indoor air quality to make your home more comfortable. Whether you have dry, itching skin in the winter or allergies in the summer, there are products that can help!
Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Did you know that every year, two hundred people die and serveral thousands are treated in hospitals for carbon monoxide poisoning. Co is a odorless, tasteless and colorless poisonous gas that can be in your home. If you have any wood burning, gas burning or oil burning appliances in your home, YOU NEED TO HAVE A CO DETECTOR!
All homes should have at least one Co detector outside the master bedroom. It is recommended that you have one on every floor of your home, however, if you are only interested in getting one, make sure it is installed near your master bedroom. If Co leaks into the house in the middle of the night, you would be the one to hear the alarm.
If you currently have a carbon monoxide detector in your home, make sure that it is still good. There is an EXPIRATION date on Co detectors that is usually 3-5 years. Also, make sure that you change your batteries every year!
Do you wake up in the middle of the night with a dry nose and itching skin? Do you get shocked when you go to give your kids a kiss good night? That is all caused by the lack of humidity in your home in those cold winter months. This can all be taken care of by adding a whole home humidifier onto your current central heating system.

What people are saying
I work at Kenisee Lake Thousand Trails Campground in Jefferson, Ohio. Even though we are closed for the season, I have to stay here to look over the campground. I needed the Welcome Center and home serviced. I called the receptionist and spoke with her regarding what I needed to have done. She was very polite and understood exactly what I needed. She made the appointment for me in a couple of days. That really surprised me, because the weather had been extremely cold and bad. I thought since it was not an emergency that it would take longer. The technician arrived about half hour early on the scheduled appointment. The receptionist had called and confirmed the earlier time with me that day to see if that was okay. The technician was very polite, very professional and respectful to the home and welcome center. He knew exactly what he had to do and got right to work. After he had finished, he went over some other options that may help us with our heating and cooling problems. I would highly recommend Ryan Heating & Cooling, Inc. for anyone that may need help with their heating or cooling systems that you may need for your business or home.
